String Orchestra II

String Orchestra builds upon the fundamentals established within the first year. Here, students experience shifting out of first position, more advanced tonal centers, increased complexity in rhythms. This course contains a continued emphasis on music literacy, instrumental proficiency, and the impact music has on us and our community. String Orchestra II coursework is aligned with the NYS Music Standards. This course offers students the opportunity to perform in both the Winter and Spring Concerts.
