String Orchestra I

String Orchestra I is structured around building music literacy and proficiency on various string instruments. Students will have the opportunity to select an instrument to play from the following: Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass. This course will focus on proper playing techniques, basic bowing techniques, the ability to read music, and how music impacts us. String Orchestra I coursework is aligned with the NYS Music Standards. This course offers students the opportunity to perform in the Spring Concert.
