Participation in Government
The goal of the participation in government course is to provide students with opportunities to become engaged in the political processes of our nation by obtaining knowledge and practicing skills necessary for becoming active citizens. This course aims to prepare students with an understanding of local, national, and global circumstances, allowing teachers to select current events to display key ideas, and understandings of the world we live in. This course will also provide students with the fundamental principles of an American democracy.
