Environmental Science
Elective environmental science allows students to engage with the natural world. Students learn about the interrelationships between the living and nonliving components of ecosystems with a focus on the powerful impact of humans on the planet. Project based learning, lab experiences, and discussions are the backbone of the course, allowing students to become more knowledgeable about their role in the environments and communities they are a part of. Studying earth systems, the living world, populations, resource use, pollution, and global change, students emerge from the course as better problem-solvers and decision makers.
