Chemistry
Chemistry is the study of the composition, properties, and reactivity of matter. Students will explore scientific phenomena in a new light and demonstrate their learning through written work, mathematical calculations, and oral conversation. Students will be required to complete a minimum of 1,200 hands-on laboratory minutes as well as participate in group discussions and presentations based on knowledge they have obtained. In June, every student is expected to take the New York State Chemistry Regents Exam.
