Improv
This is the elective level theatre course at Maspeth High School. This class is designed for students interested in an advanced level of theatrical practice and who have a working knowledge of performance, production, and technical theatre. This course is specialized in the art of comedy through both improvisation and writing of sketch. The first half of the year will be focused on improvisation, culminating in an improv performance for administrators and other teachers and classes. The second half of the year will be focused on sketch writing and performances, culminating in a sketch performance for administrators and other teachers and classes. We will be improving, writing, editing, etc.
