Geometry
In Geometry, students will explore the properties of geometric objects in various contexts. These properties will be used to determine the measurements of missing angles, segments and other components of specific figures. This knowledge will allow students to make connections to real world applications. Students will observe and model figures in items and structures in order to determine the spatial complexity of objects encountered on a daily basis. Students will demonstrate a deep understanding by proving theorems given specific information and various geometric concepts. The course concludes with the NYS Geometry Common Core Regents exam.
