Choir II
In this class students will build upon the basics of vocal technique, basic musicianship (how to read notes and rhythms), basic musical vocabulary, sight-reading skills, and how music plays an important part in our lives and cultures. Through group exercises, individual practice, demonstrations, and warm-ups students will become more comfortable in their vocal range, focus on proper breathing, and blending pitch. Each student experiences a unique and positive atmosphere in which they learn to be a better performer. There are two required and graded performances per year, one in December and one in May.
