The FDNY offers free compressions-only CPR classes as part of its ongoing Free CPR Initiative. The goal of the Initiative's programs is to equip New Yorkers with the skills to act in the event of cardiac arrest. The FDNY currently offers two programs that provide compressions-only CPR training. They are the FDNY Be 911 CPR Program and a program that targets New York City high school teens, known as the Teens Take Heart CPR Program. The program is taught by certified FDNY EMS personnel. They have successfully trained thousands of New Yorkers in compressions-only CPR.Uploaded Nov 29, 2016
