Maspeth High School Remembers . . . September 11

Greetings Maspeth HS & John F. Kennedy Jr. HS
On September 11th, 2001 we witnessed the worst act of terrorism on American soil in history.  Nearly 3000 innocent lives were lost on that day and in the years since that number has more than doubled due to physical and mental health concerns developed by first responders and others were exposed to toxins or were traumatized.
On this day, day we pay homage to the brave men and women whose lives were lost on that fateful day, we remember the innocent who died tragically, we remember those who suffered health problems and lost their lives in the aftermath and we pray for those who lost friends, family and loved ones on that dreadful morning.
For all of the aforementioned, let's take a moment of silence.
Please stand for our Pledge of Allegiance.
Thank you.
